The FRP Tuning 401ci Forced Induction Stroker Kit is a 1,500+ horsepower rotating assembly for max-effort boosted 6.4L / 6.2L HEMI builds. It is designed for high-RPM durability under extreme boost - spin it past 8,000 RPM with confidence.

Why It's Different

Most stroker kits use a 6.125" rod. The FRP 401 pairs a 3.800" stroke with a longer 6.200" rod, which puts the wrist pin higher for maximum piston stability at high RPM and gives more journal overlap and lower piston speed than a 422/426/428ci combination. Valve pockets are opened and deepened to accept valves up to 2.200" diameter and the largest camshafts FRP manufactures.

• Callies 8CW 3.800" stroke crankshaft
• Molnar 6.200" 4340 forged power-adder H-beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 bolts
• Molnar crank spacer for VVT applications
• Optional: bearings, and bearings with balancing (choose above)

Fitment

FAQ

Why a 401 instead of a 426 or 428?
The shorter 3.800" stroke with a 6.200" rod reduces piston speed and adds journal overlap - ideal for very high boost and high RPM.
