Whipple designs, manufactures, and assembles this Gen 6 3.0L upgrade kit at its facility in Fresno, California for enthusiasts who want more than a basic replacement-style package. The larger 3.0L compressor gives the 6.2L platform significantly more airflow headroom, with over 300 HP capacity over the Hellaphant 3.0L supercharger and over 500 HP capacity over the Hellcat 2.4L supercharger.
The Stage 2 system adds the hardware needed to take full advantage of that added capacity. A 112mm billet throttle body, 112mm inlet opening, and included cold air system create a high-flow inlet path designed to support the larger Gen 6 supercharger. The 112mm opening also provides compatibility with stock throttle body, 102mm, 105mm, and Whipple 112mm throttle body combinations, giving the system the flexibility serious performance builds demand.
Whipple's patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler technology is a major part of what separates this system from other positive displacement supercharger packages.
