GEN 6 3.0L WHIPPLE STAGE 2 SUPERCHARGER UPGRADE KIT
The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 2 supercharger upgrade kit is built for Ram TRX owners who want more airflow, more cooling capacity, and more real supercharger headroom than the smaller factory-style package can deliver. This is a serious Whipple upgrade for the 6.2L Hellcat-powered TRX, built around Whipple's latest twin-screw technology for customers who want a stronger inlet path, better charge-air control, and the kind of hardware needed to support the next level of performance.
Whipple has led the twin-screw supercharger market since 1987, and the Gen 6 platform reflects that hard-earned experience. Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA at Whipple's facility in Fresno, California, this Stage 2 system combines Whipple's proven supercharging authority with the airflow, intercooler capacity, and platform-specific hardware serious TRX owners expect from a premium Whipple package.
At the center of the system is the Whipple Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, built to deliver more than the smaller factory-based alternatives can support. This Stage 2 system offers over 300 HP capacity over the Hellaphant 3.0L supercharger and over 500 HP capacity over the Hellcat 2.4L supercharger, giving the TRX platform the airflow potential and power headroom needed for a far more capable combination without relying on expensive porting to make power.
The Stage 2 package adds the hardware needed to take full advantage of that capacity. A billet 112mm Whipple throttle body and billet -8AN fuel rails help open the inlet path and support the larger Gen 6 supercharger, while the oversized functional ram air S&B intake system is custom made for the Whipple twin-screw package. The intake system features a nearly 2 foot high-flow filter, massive oval intake tube, 30% larger intake scoop, and dual connecting scoops for the ram air hood.
Whipple's patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler technology is a major part of what separates this package from other positive displacement supercharger systems for the 6.2L platform. The inverted design allows for an oversized intercooler layout, with each core measuring 2 inches thick and the dual-pass design delivering 4 inches of total core thickness. Dual in, dual out intercooler flow further increases water movement to help maintain charge-air control under sustained load.
This Stage 2 system also includes the tuning and support hardware needed for the modern DCX platform. Each kit includes an HP Tuners RTD, supplied security bypass, PCM upgrade support, and Whipple calibration. For 2019 and newer Dodge Ram applications, the supplied calibration process is designed around unlocking the original PCM rather than replacing it, helping maintain proper CAN network synchronization.
This is not a dressed-up replacement blower. It is a purpose-built Whipple upgrade for TRX owners who want more than a basic swap can offer.
