At the center of the system is the Whipple Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger with an integrated Crusher™ 109mm round inlet. This larger inlet is designed to outflow smaller factory-style combinations while supporting strong throttle response, broad torque delivery, and the kind of instant positive displacement power that transforms how the Ram 5.7L E-Torque performs on the street.
Cooling is a major part of the Whipple advantage. The system uses an oversized air-to-water intercooler with a massive bar-and-plate core, paired with an industry-leading heat exchanger and high-flow intercooler pump to help control air-charge temperatures and support more consistent power under load. That combination is a big part of what helps the Gen 6 system deliver repeatable performance on pump gas.
The supporting hardware is just as important as the head unit. This package includes high-flow fuel injectors, billet fuel rails, plug-and-play wiring, PCM unlock support, security bypass support, and the required flash-tool calibration workflow. The Whipple system is also engineered around the E-Torque platform with dedicated relocation and bracket hardware to maintain proper system integration rather than forcing the truck into a compromised conversion.
Whipple's design also focuses on complete-system performance. The integrated Crusher™ 109mm inlet supports optional oversized throttle bodies, while the oversized intercooled air-bypass system is designed to reduce burst knock and improve drivability.
